About Me
I am a woman who believes in new beginnings, second chances, and the impact that genuine support can have on someone's life. I founded Extending Hands after witnessing the challenges many individuals and families in our community face, struggles with stability, access to resources, and the need for encouragement during difficult times. These experiences inspired me to create a place where people feel seen, valued, and supported.
I am committed to not only helping people move from hardship toward stability but also to helping them discover their own strengths, potential, and sense of purpose along the way. I believe that when individuals have the right support, they can uncover parts of themselves they never realized were there.
Extending Hands reflects my purpose and my dedication to uplifting those who are striving for a better future and rediscovering who they are meant to be.

How Support Works
Support at Extending Hands Inc. begins with a confidential request. This allows us to better understand each individual’s situation and determine appropriate guidance or next steps.
Once a request is submitted, our team carefully reviews the information provided. While assistance is not guaranteed, every request is handled with respect, discretion, and thoughtful consideration. Our approach centers dignity, clarity, and ethical support.
Types of Support We Offer
Reentry Support Services
A Second Chance. A Path Forward.
Extending Hands Inc. provides reentry support services designed to help individuals prepare for a successful transition from incarceration back into the community.
Our approach begins before release whenever possible and focuses on helping participants identify their goals, strengthen employment readiness, prepare for everyday responsibilities, and connect with resources that can support their transition home. Support may continue following release to provide guidance, encouragement, and connections to community-based resources.
Services may include: workforce readiness, résumé and interview preparation, job-search assistance, individualized reentry planning, life-skills development, financial literacy, assistance identifying documentation needs, connections to education and training opportunities, employer resources, and community resource navigation.
Through partnerships with correctional facilities, employers, workforce organizations, and community providers, Extending Hands works to help participants move forward with greater preparation, support, and opportunity.

Resource Navigation & Guidance
We help individuals and families identify available community resources based on their specific needs. This may include guidance toward food assistance, housing support, healthcare services, employment resources, or family support programs.
Our role is to help individuals understand their options, provide direction on next steps, and assist with navigating where and how to seek help.
Support During Life Transitions
We provide encouragement and guidance for individuals navigating significant life transitions, such as pregnancy, single parenthood, job loss, or rebuilding stability after hardship.
Support may include helping individuals identify short-term priorities, connect with appropriate services, and develop a clearer path forward during uncertain seasons.
Faith-Guided Encouragement
Our approach is rooted in faith-guided compassion and respectful encouragement. We offer emotional and spiritual support alongside practical guidance, helping individuals feel seen, supported, and valued as they move forward.
Faith-based encouragement is offered with sensitivity and respect, honoring each individual’s comfort level and personal journey.
Support is provided through guidance, connection, and encouragement.
Assistance varies based on individual needs and available resources.
